McQueen

This is so BEYOND beautiful!

I am absolutely in love with this collection. McQueen seriously runs in Burton's veins. The talented designer really brought a woman's touch to the label with a soft color palette, a more defined waist, and a softer touch on the edgy craftsmanship.
The pieces in a way seemed like little beautiful pieces of coral. Amazing workmanship is not foreign to the brand in any means but this season it was different. The leather of course made its appearance but when looked at carefully Burton's heavy creations somehow managed to look soft and womanly. A defined waistline, delicate lace cutouts and bodices were used to bring that womanly aspect, they fit each model like a glove.
The movement in some of the pieces was mezmerizing. The fluidity of the clothes was deliberate as Burton is said to have found inspiration in the way a jellyfish moves.
Bottom line, Burton is a genius and quickly found her own look in the McQueen  aesthetic.
