Mugler

gorgeous color combination!

Mugler takes me way out of comfort zone but this season there were many pieces I could actually see making themselves a nice little home in my closet. The ivory pieces with green detailing were by far my favorite of the season.
There was not Gaga on the runway but there was Gaga on the big screen! This collection will do its part in growing the following for Mugler

Wang to Dior?

Okay, ummm I thought Marc Jacobs going over the Dior was gonna happen but I guess not! LMVH stopped the Jacobs move becuase they want him to stay put at Vuitton (of course they do, he has done wonders for it!). They also thought Ackermann was too edgy and Richard Tisci did not want to leave Givenchy.

So what is a company to do? Vogue UK has reported that Wang is a possibility. I mean I am not too sure about this spectulation, his style seems too far form what Dior stands for.

Who will replace Galliano once and for all? Watch this space!

Palermo.com

Oliva Palermo.. whether or you like to say it we all know who she is and ogle over her style and vast designer wardrobe (ukh lucky!).  Well, or love to hate her girl is set to launch her own website and clothing line in the future.

The blog will contain style advice, a "What I wore" section (I will frequently be tuning into that one!) and much more. It is set to launch next week. I have to congratulate Palermo for this move, i think its a very smart one. She turned out to be a woman very smart in PR and self-marketing. Hats off to her! Can't wait for the website!

Giorgio Armani

There was a strong focus on different shades and monochrome colors in true Armani style. At times I thought I was looking at a Calvin Klein show but the prints brought me back down to reality. A strong oriental influence was prevalent with the tied at waistbands, and tight at the ankles dresses. The exploration of fabrics was particularly interesting.

This season the designer focused on movement of the garments, interesting and innovative ways of sculpting the material and the focus of the light and the dark. Would be interesting to note whether or not the designer had a long trip in the far east recently...

Versace

Love!

There was definitely more going on in the Versace show than Lindsey Wixson's fall on the catwalk! There was a certain glow about the catwalk during the show. Golden studs were all over the runway, the whites, pale blues gave the whole collection somewhat of dainty, regal quality.

I want this!

?

Some of the gowns at the end raised some question marks in my mind (the starfish) but I was loving the more delicate side of Donatella! The pale turquoise gown, water color motif and those shorts with the gold studs were definitely favorites.

Cant wait for her collaboration with H&M!!!!!

Chanel Spring 2012 collection invite!

Cannot wait to see the show! Underwater theme? hmmmm

Shoe lust!

Of course Louboutin, gorgeous!
