Marios Schwab

Schwab played upon his family's heritage to bring this collection to life, (his father made his living in lingerie).  Shwab was messing with light, playing upon the contrasts of light and dark. The colors were kept soft but the detailing was not.

The silhouette was a beautiful, lady-like nipped waist dress. The technique was much blocking, paneling, and net fabric. Schwab played beautifully on the harsh and soft elements of the garments. For example, a gorgeous white dress with a soft delicate belt and feminine nipped waist, mixed with a net fabric detailing.

All in all, an amazing collection from Schwab, very refreshing! Instead of giving the usual bursts of color for Spring, he gave soft pastels with black net laid over.He took a dark take on a sunny season.
