Last year Frida Giannini brought us the iconic Gucci collection, which would be a tough collection for any designer to follow. This season, the collection was a good attempt. Gucci's 90th birthday is coming up and to commemorate this event there will an opening of the new Gucci Museo.
Frida went with an art deco motif throughout the collection this season. The designer used the strong vibrant colors (see green on top) reminiscent of last year. The art deco is present in the strong lines and tailoring. As well as in the amazing red carpet looks. The fringe detail in the evening look is reminiscent of the 1920s flapper girl. Giannini did an amazing job in making the historical look modern. Another great collection under her belt for sure!
