Buongiorno Italia! The masterminds behind Dolce & Gabbana stayed close to home with this collection. It looks like inspiration was drawn form a farmer's market or a bunch of gorgeous vegetables that they were cooking with. The greens, reds and yellows were so rich and so appropriate for the season. Silhouettes were those of old Italian glamour.
Anyone of these pieces can be seen in a black and white Italian film clip with a beautiful donna walking along enjoying a gelato. There is something picturesque and nostalgic about this collection. However, to vamp up the sensuality there was corsets and there was lace. The whole thing just worked for me, it totally hit the mark!
