Winehouse Controversy

The beehive is not set to go away anytime soon. Jean Paul Gaultier shows us again why he is a legend. The designer used the late singer's style as inspiration for his couture show this Spring. Although I think this is an amazing collection, not everyone shares that opinion. The singer's father as said that the tribute is more of an insult. Click here to read more.

Pencil skirts, crafty corsets (as JPG loves), exaggerated waists, and crazy prints. The singer's loud personality definitely came through in the garments. No colors were shied away from, and no look was too wild. The highlight? The a-symmetrical necklines for me. With other couturier's looking back to the 1950s style, Christian Dior this season, Gaultier brings us that era for the modern woman. I for one think it was actually a beautiful send off for an artist that left her mark on a generation.
