McQueen Pre-Fall

Worthy of standing in a museum, Sarah Burton gives us art in her pre-fall collection. The peplum makes a huge splash here and my hips are currently so happy about it. With this collection Burton is moving away from the that all white, delicate innocent color palette and embracing black. She definitely softened the label's look and the beautifully embroidered gowns in this collection were no exception.This season at McQueen its all about celebrating your womanly shape, embrace the hourglass and define that waist!

I also loved the plain pieces. Burton created some gorgeous shapes in the shirts and blazers. Imagine walking through the office in one of those ensembles!
