Wu Wu Wu

Inspired by Robert Polidori's book on the restoration of Versailles. There was definitely something royal about this collection. Jason Wu reminds us all why he is a force to be reckoned with and proves why he has quickly risen to be the star of the fashion world. He achieved his usual aesthetic of the polished feminine look. He placed a great emphasis on tailoring, continuing on from last season.

The collection seemed to be split into menswear inspired daylooks to uber feminine eveningwear. The lace was everywhere, it appeared on coats, tops, dresses, it was definitely the main focus of the collection. Wu's embroidery was also impressive, little flower motifs portraying the royalty of the collection.

Wu hit this one out of the park to say the least. The collection screams, class, elegance and feminine. All professional woman rejoice! There is no denying this collection is a hit, worthy of a first lady!
