Monique Lhuillier's collection screamed one thing to me: WEARABLE. This collection is every professional girls dream! Especially those NYC ladies! The collection was somewhat dark and Monique seemed to favor her new color of the season, Black. 22 of the looks were actually in black! Great news for you, as no one looks bad in black!
Lhuillier did not just hide behind the use of black but she used this as an opportunity to play with texture. There was a lot of lace, wool crepe, and embroidery.
As if that was not enough, the gown are absolute STUNNERS! This collection will be a favorite for starlets everywhere! Stores will have a hard time keeping this on the shelves!
