Gaultier- again, the artist

Gaultier just reminded the world why he is considered an artist. With some of his greatest creations in display in the Montreal museum it is also set to travel to other cities as well. It is only fitting that Gaultier takes out all the stops for this runway show. 

The designer gave us a taste of the runways in the fifties. There was no music, only commentary in French and English. The models were all cheery while holding number cards with their look. I loved this tribute to the 50s especially with the lingerie section that came after. Gaultier gave a women exquisite looks for every moment of her day; evening, day, and some certain naughty nights. 

Gaultier reminds us ladies of what it means to be a woman. Also, what it means for him as an artist.
