Elie Tahari has a skill for making wearable clothes that look fresh off the runway. Many times clothes are beautiful but may not exactly assimilate into our woardrobes. Tahari's clothes are fashion forward for the modern woman.
For spring, Tahari came on strong in his neutral numbers. There were strong tailored pieces (perfect for work) dusted of with gold accessories. There were flashes of a beautiful tangerine and an array of blues.
My favorite: a gold pencil skirt paired with a flowy white top. Also the all white number with hints of gold.
The revival of gold by Tahari is bound to be a hit in Spring. There is something Egyptian about the collection which of course plays into my nationalistic sentiment. However, the marriage of white and gold is classy, chic and effortless.
