What I love about this designer is that her garments make it so a woman is claiming her right to be noticed as a beautiful, urban, empowered female (very power-to-you I know). The designer does not shy away from texture, she frequently uses leather, glitter, corsets, creases, buttons, gold zippers (list is pretty much endless).. I guess her wide vocabulary of textures comes from the fact that she studied fashion textile design in Paris. The art of designing is then strengthened by her work as a fashion illustrator in Milan.
