Wu Wu Style

So, If you read my blog it shouldn't come as a surprise to you that I am a dear fan of Mr.Wu's creations! This season was no exception and my love affair continues.

This season Wu played with a lot of elements, transparency and texture mainly taking center stage. The show started with a strong message; black, white and grey. These colors were the core of collection with a strong red, rich camel and electric blue making appearances as well. The classic Wu feather dress nipped at the waist made its appearance in a couple of different forms on Cara in white. Collars were closed to the top and clean lines were important.

After a long hiatus, Style is Eternal is back with a vengeance ladies and gents!  This was long overdue, this is true. To bring you up to speed, I have since moved to the big apple, attend a top tier fashion school and intern at a company I have idolized since I was a child. I have been busy as you can see! Inside peaks into all these things will be coming to you! Along with all the fashion, you can expect a little more. Expect some nyc rating reviews, insider look at places and spaces. Insight look into what going to fashion school and interning while living in this fast crazy city is like!

ELLERY

Never underestimate an Aussie is what I've come to learn especially when it comes to Australian fashion week! One of the brands I have seriously come to love is ELLERY! It has pretty much made its name on being the go to brand for the "it" girl. What I love is that their pieces are modern but not that too in your face, futuristic stuff, its been done. Their stuff is subtle yet new, bold and soft, a harmony of opposites. Here are some snaps from their Summer 2012 show. 

Charlize on British Vogue

When I got this off the news-stand, I just stopped and stared for a little while. It wasn't that I am lost in thought stare, oh-no, it was that ogle, really nasty creepy guy stare. I think Charlize looks amazing, elegant, gorgeous and sexy all at the same time. Once a woman has mastered looking sexy and elegant at the same time she's made it in my opinion. My being MIA apology

As it does, life got in the way! I just logged in a realized that it has been over a month since my last post, and for that sincerest apologizes! Since I have been gone a lot has gone on and more of that will become apparent through the week!  In bitter-sweet news, my birthday was last week and it was great! But just FYI im going to start evoking the Samantha rule, I am forever going to be the age I turned 5 days ago, I will forever be 22. Yes, that is the deal.

I don't want to sound all cliche and but seriously you gotta love what you do or your not going to get anywhere! We just had seven whole days of shooting a catalog and look book at work, long days, crazy hours, but loved every second of it! Basically, what I am trying to say is, love what you do, do what you love!
